Jane Yagyoung Kim
Jane is currently a Junior in The School of Hospitality Business.
This is her second year involved in Les Gourmets. Last year she
volunteered as a food runner and is excited to come back as a Front of
House Supervisor. Although, she has never traveled around Michigan, it
was very fun and interesting to learn about the state through
Les Gourmets. She is going to try exploring Michigan this
year but until then can not wait for Les Gourmets 2012.
Rebecca Rose
Rebecca is currently a Junior in The School of Hospitality Business.
This is her first year joining the Les Gourmets team. Her two main
focuses in the industry are Food and Beverage Management and Human Resources.
She worked on Mackinac Island the past two summers and had the opportunity to
serve as a Hotel and Food and Beverage Management. She is also the vice
president for the Society for Food-Service Management club at MSU. Her passion
and experiences continue to grow her entrepreneurial desires to begin
businesses of her own within the food and beverage industry. She is excited
and proud to represent the beauty of Michigan this year at Les Gourmets
2012.
Andrew Doroh
Andrew is currently a senior in The School of Hospitality Business,
participating in his fourth Les Gourmets, but in his first supervisory
role. Andrew has worked in the Front of House and the Back of House through
the completion of two great internships and has over seven years of restaurant
experience. Through his passion of the restaurant industry, Andrew is inspired
to one day own his own one-of-a-kind restaurant. Andrew is very excited for this
year's theme, Pure Michigan, due to the fact he has lived in Michigan
his entire life. He would love to share with everyone the best Michigan has to
offer. A quote to live by, "Some People succeed because they are destined to,
but most succeed because they are determined to"- Henry Van Dyke.

Joaquin de la Cerda
Joaquin is a freshman from Ann Arbor, Michigan and is in The School of Hospitality Business
at Michigan State. Les Gourmets was an instant attraction to Joaquin last year during his
college search and it is one of the reasons he chose to attend MSU. Joaquin has worked in
a couple different restaurant themes as well as a local high-end grocery store. Joaquin's
enthusiasm and excitement for this event is only mirrored by his interest and fondness of
food. He looks forward to being a part of such a unique year to have the events theme as
Pure Michigan and hopes to help set a new standard and reputation for Les Gourmets for his
years to come.

Hallie St. Marie
Hallie is currently a sophomore applying for The School of Hospitality Business.
She loves to bake and this is her first year volunteering for Les Gourmets.
Her passion for food and event planning is what drew her to this amazing event. She
loves to be creative in the kitchen and is so excited to see how this years event
goes! She has lived in Michigan for her entire life and her family has a cottage at
Higgins Lake. Her favorite memories of the sate always include heading up north to
go boating.
Brad Peterson
Brad Peterson is a junior in The School of Hospitality Business
and is very involved in food and beverage. This is his second year
volunteering for Les Gourmets. Brad is very excited as well as honored
to be one of the heart of house supervisors. This year's Les Gourmets
means a lot to him because of the "Pure Michigan" theme. He has lived
in Michigan all of this life and enjoys everything about the state.
Whitney Boulter
Whitney is currently a senior in The School of Hospitality Business.
She is excited for her first year as a Reception Supervisor and to be able
to combine her passion for the industry and her passion for planning events.
She is thrilled to see how this year's event turns out! Whitney also serves
as president of the Lodging and Gaming Management Association. She has
completed both of her internships; One at J. Porters Restaurant and one
with the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center. With experience in both sides
of the industry, Whitney found her passion in lodging and events and hopes
to be able to combine the two upon graduation. Whitney loves to see new places,
cook, and spend time with family. One of her lifelong goals is to travel the world!
Meghan Clark
Meghan is currently a junior in The School of Hospitality Business specializing
in Real Estate and Development. She is very excited about her first year on the
Les Gourmets Executive Board. She volunteered for the previous two years in
Reception, Front of House, and Back of House, but is looking forward to focus more
on reception this year as a supervisor. Even though she is not from Michigan, she is
ready to learn more about its wonderful foods and products. In the future, Meghan
would like to find a career in which she can somehow tie together her passion for
the French language, accounting, and the hospitality industry.
Aly Haney
Aly is currently a sophomore applying toTheSchool of Hospitality Business
aspiring to tie together her passion for food and beverage and event planning. This
is her second year volunteering for Les Gourmets. She volunteered as a food runner
for last years event. This year I hope to put my creativity and love for craft projects
to work in the reception room. I love Michigan and my fondest memories of the state
including watching the sunset from the tops of many different sand dunes!
Laurie Asava
Laurie Asava is a junior in The School of Hospitality Business and this is her
second year working with Les Gourmets. As an avid lover of all things Michigan, she cannot wait to be
a reception supervisor for this year's Pure Michigan Les Gourmets. Over the summer Laurie was an events
intern for the Traverse City Film Festival and looks forward to working with urban event and festival planning
in her future. Laurie has been involved in many HB activities and is on the cork board for the Spartan Enology
Society. Laurie has a lifelong goal of visiting every lighthouse in Michigan and loves candy, postcards, film
and adventures.
Nevena Divic
Nevena is ecstatic to be joining the Les Gourmets team. After volunteering
as a busser at last year's event she is ready to take on a bigger role. She can't wait to see the entire event
come together and is thrilled to work with all the amazing students that are involved. Nevena is only a
sophomore at The School of Hospitality Business and is involved in many different clubs:
Hospitality Association,PCMA, and LGMA. She loves to travel, scuba dive, and is an avid photographer!
Michelle Balaj
Michelle is a Senior in The School of Hospitality Business from Farmington Hills, Michigan.
This is her first year serving on the Les Gourmets board and she is excited to serve as a
marketing supervisor. Michelle has always had a passion for marketing and has completed numerous
internships to increase her knowledge and passion for the industry. Michelle currently also serves
as Assistant Director for Vegas Night 2012. She is excited to help in the planning of two extraordinary
events. Michelle spent her childhood traveling around Michigan and can't wait to see how
Les Gourmets can take the sights and smells of Pure Michigan and turn into a night to remember.
Luke Magnini
Luke is a senior in The School and this will be his third year as a member on
the Les Gourmets board. Growing up his life was dominated by his Italian and
Greek heritage. Constantly surrounded by great food and the epitome of genuine
hospitality, Luke found his passion early on in Life. He followed that passion to
MSU due to The School's elite ranking. Luke also serves as the Student Chapter
President for the Club Managers Association of America when he is not working on
Les Gourmets. In his free time he enjoys golfing, tasting and making his own
wine, bow ties and nice pens. He is an aspiring entrepreneur and hopes to someday
own and operate a restaurant chain. Luke is honored to be a part of this year's team,
and as a native New Yorker he is excited to put into action all of his wonderful
experiences as a Michigander over the past 4 years.
Troy Walker
Troy is a senior in The School of Hospitality Business. This is his second
year with Les Gourments but his first year as a supervisor. He is very
excited about the Pure Michigan theme. He has been a huge supporter of the Pure
Michigan campaign. Troy grew up camping and boating in all the beautiful parts
of Michigan. He is very excited for this year's Les Gourmets and to show
all the wonders that Michigan has to offer!
Nora Smart
Nora is a Junior in The School of Hospitality Business. This is her first year on the
Les Gourmets board and she is excited to work with the Donations team. Having spent
every summer on Lake Michigan, Nora is very excited about the Pure Michigan theme
for this year's event. Nora has also served on the Executive Council and Programming
Council for her sorority. Last summer, Nora worked on her first internship at Catawba
Island Club in Ohio. She currently works at Walnut Hills Country Club and hopes to
continue with food and beverage after she graduates. Nora is very excited to show all
that Les Gourmets has to offer this year!
Katie Lutton
Katie is a Junior in The School of Hospitality Business. She is very excited
to be involved in this year's Les Gourmets :Pure Michigan. Living in Michigan
all of her life she is a big supporter of all things Michigan. Katie is also on
The Schools Alumni Auction Executive Board and loves getting involved with the
events in The School. She is also on her sororities executive board. Katie
is currently completing her second internship at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference
Center as a Front Office Rotational Intern.
Andrew Eisenberg
Andy is a sophomore Hospitality Business student from Northbrook, IL. He is
currently the house manager of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity and is one of
the Arts & Entertainment Supervisor supervisors for Les Gourmets.
In the future he sees himself in both the food service and lodging industries.
He hopes to own a sloap-side hotel in Colorado.
Lindsey Bird
Lindsey is a Senior in The School of Hospitality Business. This is her
first year serving on the Les Gourmets board and she is excited to serve
as an Arts and Entertainment Supervisor.Lindsey has enjoyed planning events since
she was in high school, and has developed her skill set as an event coordinator
through several internships and organizations she has been involved with. She
looks forward to creating an amazing and memorable event this spring.
Tracy Enners
Tracy is a senior in The School of Hospitality Business from North Babylon, NY.
She has volunteered with Les Gourmets in the Front of House and Set-Up for the
past two years and is extremely excited to be a member of the Executive Board this
upcoming year as Human Resources Supervisor. Tracy has always had a passion for the
events industry and currently serves as Vice President for Professional Convention
Management Association. She hopes to use the event knowledge she has learned from
PCMA to make Les Gourmets 2012: Pure Michigan the best The School has
ever seen. Tracy completed her Level I internship as a front desk intern with Columbia
Sussex at Islandia Marriott in Islandia, NY and her Level II internship as a wedding
and banquet intern at Mission Point Resort in Mackinac Island, MI. She currently works
part-time on-campus at Wharton Center for Performing Arts and in previous years for
Shaw Hall Culinary Services. In addition to being involved in The School,
Tracy has spent her time in Campus Crusade for Christ, MSU Dance Club, Women in
Business Students' Association, and the BROAD Freshman Program. She will finish
her time at MSU by participating in a Study Abroad program in Rome, Italy studying
Social Science and Geography. Although she is not native to Michigan, these past few
years at MSU have taught her many things about the history, geography and cuisine
that make Michigan so special! With MI being her second home, Tracy is eager to share
all that the state has to offer with the guests of this year's event. She looks
forward to starting a career in the events and meetings industry after graduation and
is excited to see where her Hospitality Business degree takes her.
Kathryn Kota
Kathryn is a junior in The School of Hospitality Business from Rochester Hills, Michigan. She has
volunteered with Les Gourmets the past two years and is excited to be on the executive board. She
is eager to gain more hands-on experience with events as she recently interned with George P.
Johnson at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Kathryn also completed an
internship with Oakland Hills Country Club during the past two summers and helped with tournaments,
outings, swim meets, and regular golfing activities. She also interned in Southern France last
summer at the Chateau de Flaugergues helping with smaller events at the Chateau's winery and gardens
last summer. Kathryn is also the Vice President of Community Service for her professional business
fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. She is also earning her specialization in Public Relations. Kathryn
hopes to implement the knowledge she learns in the classroom, Les Gourmets, and her internships
to continue her passion in event management.
