Alexandra Clark POSITION Executive Director HOMETOWN Plymouth, Michigan GRADUATION May, 2010 Now recovering from the large bite she took out of a taxi in May, Alexandra is thrilled and ready to "sink her teeth" into Les Gourmets 2010. She hopes to apply her experience from past Les Gourmets as well as The Ritz-Carlton, BD's Mongolian Grill, The Dairy King of Plymouth, CMAA, NRA's Salute to Excellence, Study Abroad in Oslo, Norway, and years in technical theatre to make this event truly unique. Along with Les Gourmets, Alexandra trains for and competes in Ironman Triathlons, volunteers at the MSU Student Food Bank and performs research with MSU's Partnerships for Food Industry Development-Fruits and Vegetables. Following graduation, she will be attending Massey University for graduate study in Agribusiness in order to continue her entrepreneurial inspired research on Fair Trade Chocolate. (top) |

Kathryn Wahl POSITION Assistant Director HOMETOWN Medina, Ohio GRADUATION May, 2011 Kathryn is from Medina, Ohio and is currently a junior in The School of Hospitality Business. She has always had a passion for the event planning industry and started her hospitality career at the age of sixteen. Kathryn completed her first required internship at Lake Shore Country Club in Chicago, Illinois two summers ago and had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in China and Japan over the previous summer. Upon graduation, she will pursue a career in event planning and hopes to eventually develop her own wedding planning business. Kathryn is looking forward to working on the Les Gourmets E-Board for a second year and is very excited to be a part of such a hard-working Executive Board. Natalie Kirylo POSITION Front of House Director HOMETOWN Marshall, Michigan GRADUATION May, 2010 Natalie is a senior at Michigan State University with plans to graduate in May of 2010. She completed her first internship at Piping Rock Club in Locust Valley, New York, where she discovered her interest in the food and beverage industry. Her second internship with Michigan Vacation Rentals in Saugatuck, Michigan, allowed her to build from her prior restaurant experience, as well as develop skills in sales. This is Natalie's third year with Les Gourmets and first year as a board member. She is also involved with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) board and regularly volunteers for HA events. (top) |

Rob Eyers POSITION Front of House Director HOMETOWN Milwaukee, Wisconsin GRADUATION May, 2010 Rob Eyers is a senior in The School of Hospitality Business. Having volunteered or been on the excutive board for Les Gourmets every year, he is especially excited for this year because of a wonderful team and a great Mediterranean theme. This summer he completed his level two internship managing a bar in Port Washington. Although his time at MSU is the best memory of his life, he is also very excited to graduate and get out into the world to start his hospitality career. He is not sure where and what he will be doing, but cannot wait to bring his energy and passion to the hospitality industry. (top) |

Katie Weeks POSITION Heart of House Director HOMETOWN Memphis, Tennessee GRADUATION December, 2011 Katie Weeks is a junior double majoring in Hospitality Business and Spanish. She completed her first required internship with Entertainment Cruises in Chicago, IL on The Odyssey II. She is very interested in entering the food and beverage industry, and after college she plans to attend culinary school and one day own her own restaurant. She is excited about this year's event and cannot wait to accomplish the best Les Gourmets that The School of Hospitality Business has ever seen! (top) |

John Triblo POSITION Heart of House Director HOMETOWN Hartland, Michigan GRADUATION May, 2010 John has been a part of the hospitality industry since he was twelve years old and before coming to MSU, he graduated from culinary school. He recently completed his level two internship at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort where he managed the resort's bars and resturant. John finds inspiration from Thomas Keller and Julia Child because of their work and deication to the industry and the way in which their food manages obtain a tradtional feel while incorporating unusual components.He is eager to start his career and plans to find a job outside of Michigan as soon as possible. John is very exited about Les Gourmets this year and plans on making it the best one to date. (top) |

Luke Magnini POSITION Reception Director HOMETOWN Williamsville, New York GRADUATION May, 2012 Luke is a Sophomore in The School of Hospitality Business. Originally from just outside Buffalo, NY, he came to Michigan State University to pursue a career in hospitality. He is thrilled to take on the responsibility of Director of Reception in this year's Les Gourmets after being a reception supervisor as a Freshman. Along with Les Gourmets, Luke recently completed his Level 1 internship at Transit Valley Country Club in Williamsville, NY. He can't wait to get the planning underway for this year's Les Gourmets. Lisa Rotenheber POSITION Reception Director HOMETOWN Livonia, Michigan GRADUATION May, 2010 Lisa just completed her level two internship in Sandestin Florida this summer as the special events coordinator for FINZ Restaurant. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, Professional Business Fraternity, and is the head of their Dinner Dance Committee. Lisa is also a member of PCMA, Professional Convention Management Association. Mykala Salquist POSITION Marketing Director HOMETOWN Oxford, Michigan GRADUATION May, 2010 Mykala is a Senior in The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. She has a strong passion for the private club management industry and will pursue a career in food and beverage after graduation this spring. Mykala is delighted to be a part of the Les Gourmets 2010 team along with being involved with CAREER EXPO and CMAA, and as a student employee for the Student and Industry Resource Center "SIRC". Andrew Bromley POSITION Marketing Director HOMETOWN Lake Isabella, Michigan GRADUATION May, 2011 Originally from Lake Isabella, Andrew has always been fascinated by all aspects of food and has subsequently selected a second degree in Dietetics. Andrew has used the past two summers to complete this required internships for hospitality. For the most recent of these two experiences, he worked as a floor leader/level II intern at Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club in Harbor Springs, MI. Andrew absolutely loved the experience, and it solidified his commitment to this industry. After graduation from Michigan State, Andrew plans to complete his dietetic internship, earn Le Grand Diplome from Le Cordon Bleu in London, and get an MBA from the University of Chicago. (top) |

Spencer Goodman POSITION Donations Director HOMETOWN Cleveland, Ohio GRADUATION May, 2010 Spencer is excited to be involved with Les Gourmets for a third year. Last year, Spencer was a front of house supervisor and prior to that, a server. Spencer has completed two internships while enrolled at MSU. This past summer, he interned with Aramark at the Coliseum in Oakland California, which is where the Oakland Athletics and Oakland Raiders play their home games. Spencer has worked in restaurants since the age of 15 and can't imagine working without food, drinks, or interesting people in his life. (top) |

Emily Smith POSITION Donations Director HOMETOWN West Bloomfield, Michigan GRADUATION May, 2010 Emily just started her third year in The School of Hospitality Business and is still enjoying every minute of it! This is her second year on the Executive Board for Les Gourmets and The Alumni Auction. Emily was the 2009 recipient for The International Flight Service Association (IFSA) Harvey and Laura Alpert Inflight Scholarship, where she traveled to Dallas, Texas, to attend the IFSA conference and participate in the IFSA convention. Emily loves baking and cooking for her friends and family. She is undecided of the direction she will take after graduation, whether it will be the lodging industry or pastry school. Aleea Davis POSITION Arts & Entertainment Director HOMETOWN Trenton, Michigan GRADUATION May, 2010 Aleea Davis is a senior at Michigan State University in The School of Hospitality Business. Aleea plans on moving to Chicago after graduation to work as an event planner for a large hotel in the heart of the city. Some of the internships that she has completed to help her achieve this goal were working as a front desk agent at a Westin in Southfield, Michigan, last year and being an event coordinator at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, Michigan, this summer. Some of the fun events that she planned this past summer include helping coordinate the Kid Rock concert and planning a wedding for 200 people. While working at the resort this summer she has taken a liking to golf and may pursue the sport in years to come. During the school year she is actively involved in the MSU Equestrian team and has competed with them for two years. She is also the Social Chairperson for the MSU Horseman's Association and is in charge of planning their end of the year banquet. (top) |

Susie Jung POSITION Arts & Entertainment Director HOMETOWN Seoul, South Korea GRADUATION May, 2011 Susie is originally from Korea. She spent her childhood in Seoul and she lived in Utah for a short period time before coming to Michigan. She has always been interested in the Casino industry after visiting Las Vegas. This is her third year in Les Gourmets and she had an amazing time of being a wine pourer in 2008 and the Director of Marketing in 2009. This past summer, she was grateful to have an experience in Aspen, Colorado, on a 3-month long internship for Aspen Meadows Resort, as an intern in the Food and Beverage Department. Susie is hoping that she will be able to join somewhere next summer within the casino industry. She is delighted to be in Les Gourmets 2010 as the Director of Arts and Entertainment. (top) |

Jordan Howell POSITION Human Resources Director HOMETOWN Ludington, Michigan GRADUATION May, 2011 Jordan is a junior here at MSU. Besides planning for Les Gourmets, he works in SIRC and as well as at the the Lexington Lansing Hotel. He recently completed an internship in Maui, Hawaii, and plans to return to the islands to continue his journey in hotel management. He has done both of his required internships with Starwood Hotels, and he is ready to apply his real life learnings to the event. Cassi Weisman POSITION Human Resources Director HOMETOWN Salt Lake City, Utah GRADUATION May, 2011 Cassi is currently a Hospitality Junior at Michigan State. She completed her first internship the summer after her freshman year at a 5-star, 5-diamond hotel in Park City, Utah, at Stein Eriksen Lodge working as a front desk agent. This past summer she studied abroad in Hong Kong and Japan. The program's primary focus was on the study of hospitality business by touring many hotels and other hospitality organizations. Cassi is also part of the Vegas Night Executive board as this year's Director of Poker. She dreams of one day managing her own hotel or casino. Cassi is very excited about being on the Les Gourmets Executive Board this year and will do her best to make it one of the best The School has ever had! (top) |
