Kelsy grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. After spending her freshman year at
Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, she transferred to Michigan State to
pursue her career in Hospitality Business. Kelsy spent her '06 summer as an
intern for Lettuce Entertain You and Big Bowl in the city of Chicago. She
will spend this summer ('07) interning with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants in East
Lansing. After graduation in May 2008 she will pursue a career in
restaurant management.

A native of Cheboygan, Michigan, Chelsey is in her junior year at MSU. She has spent her past two summers working at her family’s restaurant, Mulligan’s. Before graduating, she hopes to study abroad and improve her Spanish skills. Chelsey will graduate from The School of Hospitality Business in May of 2009 and intends to pursue a career in special events coordination. |

I am from Buffalo Grove Illinois, about a half an hour north-west of Chicago. I am a sophomore here at Michigan State University and will graduate from The School of Hospitality Business in 2010. I interned last summer (’07) at Hawthornwoods County Club. I’m extremely happy and honored to be apart of Les Gourmets-Flavors of South America, I am looking forward to getting to know my fellow board members and increase my knowledge of the inner workings of event planning and coordination.

Ryan was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He began his career at Michigan State University as a pre-nursing major and realized very soon that he had no business in the medical profession. Shortly after, he decided that his love of fine dining and travel would be a natural fit for Hospitality Business. He is beginning his senior year this fall at MSU after interning at Aspen Meadows Resort in Aspen, Colorado this summer. Ryan is excited for another great experience with Les Gourmets this year.

Lisa grew up just outside Chicago, and chose MSU because of it's fabulous HB reputation, gorgeous campus, and rousing Big 10 environment.
She's completed her 2 internships in Chicago, with Premier Yachts and Kimpton Hotels. She recently spent a month in India, Dubai, and Bankok studying International Lodging Management, and plans to intern next summer in Spain to complete her 2nd major in Spanish.
Lisa is also the Assistant Director of Vegas Night. She hopes to pursue a career in lodging or event planning upon her 2009 graduation.

She did her intern this summer at The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado. She plans to work in the event planning industry after she graduates in May 2009.

Paul is from Chicago, Illinois and currently entering his third year at Michigan State. He started out as a server for Les Gourmets, was then involved as a front of house supervisor, and is now one of the directors of front of house. Last year at Les Gourmets: Night of the Golden Dragon, he was awarded the Robert H. Nelson Les Gourmets Endowed Scholarship. Paul is very excited for Les Gourmets 2008 and looking forward to building on last years experience!

She has spent her last two summers interning at Cherry Creek Golf & Banquet Center in Shelby Twp. and Something Fabulous Event Planning & Invitation Studio in Rochester, MI. Jennifer plans to pursue a career in event planning after graduation. She was a heart of house volunteer her freshmen year and a front of house supervisor her sophomore year. She hopes to make this year’s Les Gourmets the best yet!

At which time, she transferred to Michigan State Univeristy, where she has become an avid member of PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) and received an internshp for the summer of '07 working as events coordinator for for a fine dining restaurant on Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Florida. After graduation in the Spring of 2009, Ally wishes to continue her involvement in special events coordination.

Dana grew up in Novi, Michigan and will be a senior at Michigan State University this fall ('07). She completed her Level 1 internship in the summer of '06 at The Hotel Iroquois on Mackinac Island working in their restaurant and gained a tremendous amount of F&B experience. She loved it so much that she is back at the Iroquois this summer for her Level 2 internship, this time experiencing the hotel and lodging side of the HB industry. She is interested in one day becoming an event planner.

Moriah is a junior at Michigan State University and will graduate in May 2009. This is her second year working with Les Gourmets, but her first year on the Executive Board. After graduating, Moriah plans on working within the food and beverage industry and hopes to increase her repertoire through extensive global traveling. The ultimate goal she would like to achieve would be to create her own restaurant idea so she can leave her “stamp” on the dining world. Moriah is excited to be working towards another successful year with the 2008 Les Gourmets Executive board.

She is a junior majoring in Hospitality Business, specializing in Spanish and currently works at The Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo. She spent the summer of '06 waitressing at Zazios, a fine dining Italian Restaurant and this summer '07 she is completing her second level internship. After graduation she intends to work in the hotel and lodging industry hopefully in Chicago. Kristen is excited to help make Les Gourmets 2008 the best yet.

Rachel is a junior hospitality student from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The summer of 2006 she interned for Sport Service at U.S. Cellular field, working with all different aspects of the food and beverage. This past summer she completed her second internship with Levy Restaurants at Arlington Park as a suites and executive box manager. Upon graduation in May of 2009, she plans on working in corporate event planning.
